I know what it is like to be in a candidate's shoes when considering options. I have worked in recruitment since 2006 and have worked in both traditional contingent international businesses as well as boutique search firms. I know the difference between both and what drives candidates to move.
By talking with me you will gain:
- An overview of the market including trends and news;
- Information on clients, commission schemes and team structures;
- My honest, objective opinion on what I think you should do (this may include remaining in your firm for the time being);
- Advice on how to interview, how to present yourself in a positive light and how to actually be successful.
Most candidates I meet are non-active and not looking. Even if you are very happy where you are and don't expect to move for the next few years, it may be still worth us talking. I will not try to push you into talking to clients if ultimately you don't want to.
Every interview is a two-way process and if the candidate decides after the meeting that they do not wish to proceed with the process, I will not try to push them to continue. I will never try to 'hard close' someone, as ultimately people have to make the right choice for them.
